The goal of vision therapy is to retrain the child's visual system to process visual input more accurately and easily. It is a fully customised and personalised treatment programme. Vision therapy enhances the brain-eye connection and the efficient operation of the child's visual system; it goes beyond simple eye exercises. Enhancing visual abilities like eye-tracking, focusing, convergence, eye-hand coordination, visual processing speed, and others is the goal of vision therapy. As a unique and individualised treatment plan, vision therapy is frequently utilised in conjunction with other therapies like eyeglasses or surgery. Once a week, 30-45 minute sessions of vision treatment are conducted under the direction of an eye doctor.
